About Fischler Property Company
At Fischler Property Co., we believe in building a legacy — in our community, with our clients, and through our organization. What gets us out of bed in the morning is finding new ways to create what can be instead of living with what is. We get fired up to accomplish what people say cannot be done. We refuse to accept no for an answer.
We come to the table with a wider set of experiences (in civil engineering, development, and brokerage) than most, and we are comfortable wearing many different hats. We move confidently between many elements of the industry: finance and investment, marketing and brokerage, construction and design, planning and entitlements, legal and technical, leadership and client relations and we celebrate the opportunity to solve problems in an impactful manner. We are best defined as:
- Resourceful: Our local market knowledge and strong national relationships uniquely position Fischler Property Co. to both source development deals and participate in the investment.
- Entrepreneurial: Our size allows us to be nimble in our approach and thoughtful in our delivery.
- Collaborative: We engage our clients and partners throughout the deal life cycle in order to leverage industry best practices and foster an atmosphere of trust.
Fischler Property Co. is a privately held firm focused on the development of retail and multifamily assets and offering dynamic brokerage solutions to a select group of clients.
- Development: We develop commercial properties for our own portfolio. We also provide fee development services to both property owners and tenants.
- Brokerage: We provide brokerage services to a select group of clients, looking for opportunities that leverage our approach — focused, strategic and relationship-driven.
- Advisory Services: We bring a fresh perspective to our clients and are constantly seeking new ways of assessing, protecting, and multiplying the value of our client’s assets.

Phil is trusted by prominent U.S. and international companies with the investment in and development of high-profile mixed-use, multi-family and commercial properties from Montana to South Florida. Clients turn to him for his integrity, creativity, versatility and wide-ranging experience spanning engineering to real estate brokerage to bank advisement. With an uncanny ability to recognize opportunities and predict real estate trends, Phil’s resourcefulness inspires action and delivers results. Highly regarded for honoring commitments and achieving goals, he has a track record to back up his reputation.
In 2009, Phil founded Fischler Property Company with a mission to build a legacy through inspiring investment in and restoration of Southwest Florida while helping to positively shape its inevitable growth.
A third-generation Floridian, Phil graduated from Florida State University with degrees in civil engineering and mathematics. He then joined the national engineering firm Kimley-Horn, where he led one of the firm’s highest-producing divisions, was among the youngest shareholders, and launched the acclaimed Land Development University, an intensive internal training program that developed the firm’s young talent. While there, he spearheaded substantial growth for numerous household names including Costco, Target, Lowe’s, Lincoln Property Company and AMLI. Just prior to starting his own firm, Phil served as Vice President of Development for North American Properties-Southeast, where he helped develop Class-A, Publix-anchored shopping centers across Florida.
Phil earned the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional, a licensed real estate broker in Florida, and a licensed professional engineer in Texas and Florida. He has been involved in over 10 million square feet of commercial real estate development with an investment value over $1.3 billion.
Phil paid his way through college by working in fine-dining restaurants, where he often landed in the kitchen and subsequently learned to cook German and Italian cuisine, a skill he credits for the success of his marriage to his wife, Angela. Come summertime, they can be found alongside their daughter-and-son twins exploring America’s greatest cities and national parks. Otherwise, you’ll find Phil decompressing while sport fishing or enjoying the outdoors. He’s a Coastal Conservation Association Life Member, as well as an active supporter of the United Way and various youth athletic programs, and has served in leadership roles at New Hope Presbyterian Church.
Michael started his career in commercial real estate in 1991, and has continued to build a body of knowledge and experience to bring the highest level of service to his clients. He sharpened his knowledge of all property types as a third-party underwriter for life companies, insurance companies, REITs and securitized product markets. As a commercial real estate lender, he generated and managed portfolios in excess of $100 million as the relationship manager of the bank’s midlevel to larger clients. His experience has been focused on acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate for end users, developers, investors and institutions. Before joining the Fischler team in 2015, Michael held leadership roles at SunTrust Bank and Wells Fargo Bank, where he helped structure their REO departments and then managed, marketed and disposed of hundreds of millions of dollars worth of commercial real estate properties within Florida and the southeast U.S. He has developed an extensive network of service providers to help ensure your commercial real estate experience will be as smooth as possible. At Fischler, he specializes in acquisition and disposition services for commercial real estate investment properties.
Michael is married to Nancy, a full-time registered nurse, with her two boys, Connor and Joshua, and together their youngest, Sean Michael Curran. He attends the Resurrection Catholic Church, is an avid Florida outdoorsman, and supports charities that focus on strengthening the community and conserving the natural beauty we are surrounded by. He coaches Sean Michael's baseball teams at Rutenberg Park.
